I think 'sick' is one term for it.

The Russian invasion of Ukraine proper was DEAD WRONG.
But putting economic sanctions on Russia.
Which will primarily hurt the poorest Russians is DEAD wrong as well.

And anyone who thinks it will result in regime change obviously knows dick about history (Cuba, North Korea, Iran, Iraq, etc.)
All economic sanctions do is make life harder for the poorest people.
