He said soldiers are complaining about having Kevlar vests that lack the hard-armor panel, but they are ignored.

They thought the "special operation" would be over in a few days, and the Ukrainian people would welcome Vlad's army as liberators.

They probably had no plans in place for fierce resistance and an extended stalemate

You choose to believe war machine propaganda instead of asking why Putin had no other choice but to fight back.
