Russia Offers Elon Musk Asylum as Fight With Trump Intensifies

We fight, We win, Am Yisrael Chai
Russian officials are gleefully offering Elon Musk asylum, a sarcastic gesture meant to sow further discord between the billionaire and President Trump as their alliance implodes.

“Elon @elonmusk, don’t be upset! You are respected in Russia. If you encounter insurmountable problems in the US, come to us and become one of us - a ‘Bars-Sarmat’ fighter. Here you will find reliable comrades and complete freedom of technical creativity,” wrote Dmitry Rogozin, who formerly rivaled Musk as the head of Russia’s space agency Roscosmos. “We will, of course, resolve issues of citizenship and military ID. Please fill out the forms at this link. With respect to you.” Rogozin is now a senator in occupied Ukraine.

LOL Trump's world is crumbling. Two of the world's richest men are playing him for a sucker. :rofl2:

Snowden had no intention of going to Russia, but they look him in and he is there safe from the reach of the Imperial Empire who wants to hurt him for telling the world the truth about what America does.

:palm:I'm sure Snowden is happy with the Kremlin's pervasive domestic security and surveillance web and the Russian legal system.

I supported Snowden’s revelations of the NSA spying on cotizens, but his endangering the security of our intelligence gathering was a deal breaker.
I don't know all the facts about what he did for me to say it was merited. But he had a right to due process in this country, and he defected to Putin instead. I have no sympathy for that. I actually think it says a lot about his character.

The situation with irrational Crazy Trump is going to turn ugly, and there will be serious consequences for all of us.
Agreed on ugly and serious consequences, but only in the short term.

The advancement of civilization is often two steps forward and one step back. We, the People, are clearly in a "one step back" phase. After things get ugly followed by the serious consequences, it will be two steps forward again.

Still, my advice is to follow the Boy Scout motto and be prepared. :)

Tucker and someone else on my grapevine have spent time with Snowden in the last six months, they report that he has a very nice life in Russia but that he would come home if he thought he could, and that he is very grateful for the Russians.

Peter Lavelle and Mark Sleboda both live in Moscow, Pepe Escobar spends a lot of time there I am not sure if he has a place somewhere as he is near constantly traveling....... Larry Johnson, Judge Nap, Alexander of the Duran, Jeffrey Sach and Ray McGovern have all been in Russia lately.....Scott Ritter would have been if his passport had not be pulled but he talks to Russians constantly....

I have a pretty good sense of what is going on in Russia.
