Tyler Sherman, a nurse at a rural Nebraska hospital, is used to the area's aging farmers delaying care until they end up in his emergency room.

Now, with Congress planning around $1 trillion in Medicaid cuts over 10 years, he fears those farmers and the more than 3,000 residents of Webster County could lose not just the ER, but also the clinic and nursing home tied to the hospital.

Thank you so much for posting this and going there....13 dead with 20 babies missing...May God find mercy, give hope and show Grace to all the ppl of Kerr Texas. There but by the Grace of God, Go I...all it takes is one catastrophic day, one mistake, one anything to put you at the Mercy of not just God, but the federal government and its safety net. I would bet my last dollar among these families are die hard Trump supporters, all needing the very Medicaid, foot stamps and section 8 temporary housing due to SEVERE JOB LOSS. A great deal of these families are proboably white or hispanic, all needing the very resources Trump has now CUT. Poor FEMA is stretch so thin, because week after week after week, mother nature's wrath is upon us and oddly enough, she keeps hitting the same STATES OVER AND OVER AGAIN...there's a there there in all this, but for now, Dear God, be with the families of Kerr, Tex. THE HOME OF SO MANY TRUMP SUPPORTERS.

Too many of the backward rural counties all across this nation have either complacent don't vote voters or Trump racist enthusiast... there is no way in hell in these rural towns, you got a Obama fan or liberal fan sticking around waiting on coal to make a come back. But I truly believe, when God wants to punish, he answers your deceitful prayers.
