Here we go again, wasting tax money on Trump's simple-minded hate. These cases are doomed. They said soldiers do not have to obey ILLEGAL orders. That is a fact. The military code says that. The law says that. Trump's weaponising of the law in an immature and childish fashion continues.

You misspelled “weaponizing.” 😉

But yes, I agree. So much petty stuff dealt with is a distraction from the dealing with the real problems we face. We probably disagree on what “all” of those problems are but I bet we’d agree on some.

The Pentagon cannot recall a veteran just to punish them for something they said, particularly when they are right. Our service members should disobey unlawful orders.

Unless you’re threatening violence, sharing classified information, or committing an actual crime, your voice is protected; whether the Pentagon likes it or not.

Once you’ve completed your service obligation, you are a civilian with full First Amendment rights. Period.

Recall authority exists for national defense, not retaliation. The military cannot drag you back just because they don’t like your opinions. Courts have repeatedly ruled that punitive recall is unlawful and an abuse of power.
