Actually, it seems natural with the worst forms of rap/hip hop. They can sing about killing and stealing. It's not just the GOP but also the OGP.
 
The party will never allow big name hip hop artists into any function of theirs. No self respecting hip hop artists will appear.

Actually back in the day Eazy-E went to White House and had dinner with Bush Sr. while he was President and Eazy-E was about as hard and as gangster as it got. However I agree with you today. With Obama as President no rapper would be caught dead at a GOP event.

Let's see... There are some rappers who seem to have some sympathy for Republicans. Lil Wayne and Juelz Santana rap about being "Black Republicans", but they also talk a lot about Obama too. Most of them just really aren't that political. The ones that are like Nas and Immortal Technique are usually anarcho-socialist types.

The Daily Show had this segment where they discussed the weirdly similar positions of rappers and Republicans on certain issues.
