Tucker asked Putin to release an American prisoner as a sign of his "decency". Putin essentially said "we've done so many things as a sign of our decency, that we've run out. No one shows us the same decency". How many rightys here side with Putin on that comment?

The wife claims he sexually abused the children.

Either he is totally innocent and she's lying, or she legitimately feels he's a criminal.

Hard to say based on limited information. At any rate, it sounds like she's the one who brought the charges to Russian law enforcement.

It sounds like our State Department has not yet determined he is wrongfully detained.

I doubt he can realistically expect his appeal to succeed.
