Republican presidential frontrunner Donald Trump has commented on the shooting at a Colorado Planned Parenthood.

"I will tell you there is a tremendous group of people that think it's terrible, all of the videos that they've seen with some of these people from Planned Parenthood talking about it like you're selling parts to a car, there are a lot of people that are very unhappy about that."

Trump described the "tremendous dislike" he sees for Planned Parenthood on the campaign trail.

"I can say that, because I go to rallies. I see a lot of anxiety and I see a lot of dislike for Planned Parenthood. There's no question about that."

"No question the hateful rhetoric exacerbates the situation. And we should be doing all we can to engage in intelligent, civil discussion about our differences. That's how we solve problems. We don't ever solve them with hateful rhetoric," said Ben Carson.

"Hateful rhetoric and terrorist-type activities are horrible, no matter from where they emanate, and we should all condemn them at all times,'' Carson said on NBC News' "Meet the Press.'' "Let's stop trying to destroy each other.''

Mike Huckabee said it was "disingenuous" for Planned Parenthood to tie the attack to anti-abortion activists.

"There's nothing about any of us that would condone or in any way look the other way on something like this," Huckabee said.

Meanwhile Canadian Cruz is crowing about getting Troy Newman's endorsement

In 2003, Newman issued a press release defending Paul Jennings Hill, who was executed by lethal injection for murdering abortion doctor John Britton and his clinic escort James Barrett.

Newman argued that Hill should have been able to defend himself by classifying the murder as justifiable:
