Republicans slam Mayorkas after emails show he was alerted that no Haitian migrants were 'whipped': 'Resign'


Republican legislators are slamming Department of Homeland Security Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas after Fox News reported he was alerted to an article stating that no Haitian migrants were "whipped" by Border Patrol agents on Sept. 19, 2021.

The email, which was sent on Sept. 24, 2021, by Marsha Espinosa, assistant secretary of DHS public affairs, alerted Mayorkas and other officials within DHS, pointing them to a news article with quotes from a photographer behind the images showing Border Patrol agents on horseback, and he denies ever seeing agents "whipping anyone."

Espinosa highlighted portions of the comments from the photographer, which state that he didn't experience any whipping.

The email was obtained by the Heritage Foundation through a Freedom of Information Act Request......

Smoking emails prove Mayorkas knew that the CBP agents did not whip the Haitians who were illegally crossing the boarder but he still went on national TV and criticized the agents and let Biden think they were whipping illegal immigrants. Hours later, Marsha Espinosa, the Department of Homeland Security’s assistant secretary of public affairs, alerted Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas and other DHS officials that pictures of border patrol supposedly whipping Haitian migrants were not true.


Their insane agenda is bad enough but to intentionally lie to support it will cause the country to spiral into the abyss of madness.
 
Most people know telephoto lenses flatten the scenery. Those horses are not on top of the illegals who are crossing our border illegally.

Mayorkas knew he was lying from the start. In any job but politics, that would be an immediate dismissal. If a CFO lies to stockholders and the IRS, it's a crime. The one thing corporate America fears is a lie about financial results. This is no different. Mayorkas, and anyone else who knew, and lied, should resign in shame.
 
VDH has said that this asshole needs to be the first impeached, if the R's are serious about standing up to these abusers it will happen fast.
