Report on Adam Lanza's Motive Inconclusive!

After 2000 pages of evidence they still claim they can’t determine what the motive was for Adam Lanza’s rampage at Sandy Hook Elementary School nearly a year ago on December, 14, 2012. I guess they wanted a note from him saying that “I am going to kill 20 kids because…” as if he actually would have any clue what was driving his increasingly bizarre behavior; including that leading up to this event. It is always stupefying to me that the authorities expect the perpetrator’s of crime to be able to tell them why they did it. Any student of psychology knows that the person acting seldom knows why they are doing it. I don’t even know why I am posting this or why I am on the internet right now instead of doing anyone of nearly a million other things. So I can say with some certainty if I suddenly developed a desire for automatic weapons and went out and shot nearly 2 dozen children with them, I wouldn’t have a clue and I would be the worst person to ask. And so is anyone else who does that kind of shit!

Sandy Hook Shooting Investigation Ends With Motive Still Unknown

NEWTOWN, Conn. — Four days before Adam Lanza went on a shooting rampage at an elementary school last December, his mother cooked him some of his favorite meals and then left for a three-day trip. He had been refusing to talk to her for three months, communicating with her only by email, although their bedrooms shared the second floor of their home in Newtown.

On the day before the shooting, Mr. Lanza, 20, went to the area around the school, Sandy Hook Elementary, his GPS device showed.

However, after an 11-month investigation, the Connecticut State Police could not determine a motive for the attack, one of the nation’s deadliest mass shootings, according to a 48-page report released on Monday.

Mr. Lanza attended Sandy Hook Elementary between 1998 and 2003, but the report found that “the shooter indicated that he loved the school and liked to go there.”

The report, which had long been anticipated, was issued by Stephen J. Sedensky III, the state’s attorney in Danbury. It was drawn from the file of the State Police investigation, some 2,000 pages, according to law enforcement officials.

The horror of the morning of Dec. 14, 2012, at Sandy Hook Elementary School, where Mr. Lanza fatally shot 20 first graders and six adults, has become part of the national psyche. The report depicts Mr. Lanza’s internal life and complicated relationship with his mother, Nancy Lanza, in vivid and chilling detail.

Mr. Lanza changed clothes so often that his mother did his laundry every day, but she was not allowed to enter his bedroom.

He was enthralled by violent video games, including one called “School Shooting,” but he also played “Dance Dance Revolution,” an interactive video game, at a local movie theater Usually dressed in a gray hoodie and slacks, he would play the game, recreating a dance routine, for four to 10 hours at a time.

His mother, who separated from his father, Peter Lanza, in 2001 and lived alone with Adam, was worried about him, saying she could not have a job because he required her constant attention. But there was no sign Ms. Lanza was concerned he would become violent. The police found a check indicating that she had planned to give it to him to buy a firearm for Christmas last year. She also took him to shooting ranges.

By 2012, the report says, Mr. Lanza was not in contact with his father or his older brother, Ryan, who had also moved away. Ms. Lanza was planning to move from Newtown, possibly to Washington or to North Carolina, with Adam. To prepare the house for sale, she intended to buy a recreational vehicle for Adam to sleep in because he refused to go to a hotel.

On Dec. 13 at 10 p.m., Ms. Lanza returned from her three-day trip, to New Hampshire.

The next morning, her son shot and killed her in her bed at close range. The .22-caliber rifle that he used was found later by her bedside.

He then went to Sandy Hook Elementary armed with 30-round magazines for a Bushmaster .223-caliber rifle, along with several other weapons. Shortly after 9:30 he blasted his way through the plate-glass window at the locked front entrance.

In less than 10 minutes Mr. Lanza fired 154 rounds from the rifle, killing the 26 children and staff members. At 9:40, he took his own life with a pistol.

“He was wearing a pale green pocket vest over a black polo-style short-sleeve shirt over a black T-shirt,” according to the report. “He had yellow colored earplugs in each ear. He was wearing black cargo pocket pants, black socks, black sneakers, a black canvas belt and black fingerless gloves on each hand. He had an empty camouflage drop holster that was affixed to his right thigh.”

The report comes nearly a year after the massacre set off a national discussion about gun control, mental health and violence in American popular culture. In that time, families of the victims have struggled to put their lives back together, the town has tried to heal and the school itself has been razed. But, until Monday, very little information compiled by investigators had been publicly released.

Sandy Hook was a black op to stir a debate about gun control. Adam Lanza was just a patsy. The real perpetrators were actually filmed running through the woods afterward, but the authorities don't care about that, they're sticking with the single shooter theory. Some things never change with these dillholes.

That's a hell of a way to try to start a conversation! One would think that if need be all those who wanted to talk about gun control would need to do is just post the weekly statistics for about a year. That should bring it home. Every week 2 or 3 children get killed by guns in America. Every years three or four Sandy Hooks occur! Just keep track and add up the numbers every month. It's easy to do! All one needs is a web site, a computer and a little attention and diligence. The right wing is ready to pour $300,000 into some screwball like George Zimmerman but there is no one I know of on the left who is bankrolling anti-gun web sites.

Since more children are killed in vehicular accidents, does this mean that you're for lock out devices being installed on all vehicles?

Apparently, Lanza was a shitty son, and wanted to do something that would hurt her the most in the process of killing her. Had she been a hardcore civil libertarian and attorney, he would have shot-up a courthouse.

You mean besides this one?

Yeah yeah, Bloomberg is a republican except he isn't. He is a lib dem who switched parties to avoid a primary. Yeah. It's true.

The education I provide you is free. Don't waste it

I don't know what the hell you are referring to here. Given how many times I have locked my keys in the car over the last 40 years, I thought most cars already had such devises on them! Every car I ever owned did; I think it was commonly called a door lock. I don't know what you call it!

MAYBE IS BECAUSE MAN NAMED LANZA IS SIMPLY HATING OF CHILDREN. IVAN IS HATING OF CHECHAN, SO IVAN IS KILLER OF CHECHAN.

Really and how does killing the children after he killed his mother hurt his mother? She's dead. I think in most cases that ends all pain. That seems to be the main impetus for suicide at least physician assisted suicide! There is one theory floating around that suicide stems from women withholding sex. But that's mostly an outlier, that few rational adults subscribe to! So as far as we know death ends pain. Except for those who believe that you burn in hell, but I don't really subscribe to that myth either. Not knowing in what Adam Lanza's personal belief system consisted, I demur to ascribe any motive myself, but I still think attempting to hurt her after he shot her is would be impossible. If he really wanted to hurt his mother in that way, he would have left her alive to explain his actions and to live with the effects of his crime. He saved her all that and made her a victim like the others.

A lock out device stops anyone who's been drinking, from being able to start the car.
The driver has to blow in a tube and if any alcohol is detected, the it "locks out" the ignition.
With every car being required to have this device; someone who's been convicted of a DUI wouldn't be able to borrow a car, drive drunk, and harm anyone.

Statistics are not emotional enough. The gun control debate needs irrational fear, because the truth is that as causes of death for children go, gun violence is way down on the list, in reality.
