If you are a pedo, becoming a priest is a pipeline to young boys. If you are gay, it serves that demographic as well.
 
I'd bet this thread would be 20+ pages long at this point if this was tied to transgenders somehow.

It's like conservatives hear "church" and are like, oh, well, that's okay then...
 
An absolutely horrific story, btw. How many of these do we need? The level of abuse by the church - from its very inception - is staggering. It's impossible to be hyperbolic about it.

When are we going to really address this?
