Rep Davis to Clinton: Stay out of Chicago politics

CHICAGO – Congressman Danny Davis has a message for former President Bill Clinton: Don't take sides in the Chicago mayor's race — or else.

Davis, a longtime friend of Clinton, warned the ex-president on Tuesday that he could jeopardize his "long and fruitful relationship" with the black community if he campaigns for former White House chief of staff Rahm Emanuel instead of one of the two leading black candidates running — Davis or former Sen. Carol Moseley Braun.

lol....just read this

Chicago mayoral hopeful Congressman Danny Davis (D-Ill.) insisted that he is not playing the race card as he threatens to turn the African American community against former President Bill Clinton, if he comes to the city of the big shoulders to stump for Rahm Emanuel.

"It's a friendship card," Davis said, emphasizing the long relationship between himself and Clinton, who once wore the label "the First Black President."

You gotta just love it....we've come, from Hillary, the chosen one for "first women president"...it was her turn, after all....pushed aside by Kennedy and other big time Dimocrats....

to

the Clintons can STFU and speak when they're spoken to....and Hillary is to repeat only what Obamites tell her to repeat....

I'm enjoying their being publicly shit on by Obama's thugs ...

imo....davis is being a bigot and playing the race card is so yesteryear...move on

what the left won't call davis out on is:

imagine a white candidate saying to bill --> support davis and you will lose the support of the white community

^^^^i will be impressed if a lefty addresses this

You'd really have to be there to know what the intent is. It's possible Davis was saying to Clinton 'look here bro, this thing is about to get racial and the brothers won't be happy if they see you backing the white dude'. I'm not sure why that conversation would have to be made public but its a legit possibility.

Possibly. I know Chicago is corrupt. I don't know about its race relations. Like I said I gave an example of how Davis could be saying it as a friend to Clinton. Davis could also have a vested interested in one of the black dudes winning and doesn't like seeing someone as powerful as Clinton come in and possibly cause his horse to lose and thus he plays the race card.
