This was 2 months ago!. Why have they been sitting on the video.? When george floyd died, the videos of that incident were released immediately. But Karmelo is black and his victim white so. . .

june 10 2025Amid an ongoing investigation over the fatal stabbing of high school student Austin Metcalf at a Frisco, Texas, track meet, the school district announced it has surveillance footage of the stabbing.

The Frisco Independent School District confirmed to Fox News Digital that it possesses surveillance footage of the April 2 incident at Kuykendall Stadium but will not be publicly releasing the video.

The fatal altercation between 17-year-old Metcalf of Memorial High School and allegedly 17-year-old Karmelo Anthony, a student at Frisco Centennial High School, unfolded during a rain delay on April 2 at the district track and field championship.

The media gave this incident very little coverage right from the start. And then when it was exposed how the BLACK family was cashing in on the murder their son committed, the press really went into censorship mode.

Actually three months later. For three months, police lied about what was on the video.

Apparently, this video shows Metcalf assaulting Anthony twice. In Texas, if you are assaulted, there is absolutely no obligation to retreat.

What's the lie? https://www.cbsnews.com/texas/news/frisco-isd-track-meet-stabbing-video-release/ In Texas, when are you given permission to stab someone in the heart and kill them?

When you feel threatened. It is a Stand-Your-Ground state, where you can kill someone who uses slightly harsh words against you. Metcalf hit Anthony twice. That is two assaults, with a warning in between. Anthony did not legally need to give that warning.

In most countries in the world, there is what is called an obligation to retreat. Anthony being assaulted would have to retreat in every way possible before being allowed to defend himself. Texas does not have that legal concept. There is no obligation to retreat, or even warn.

So you feel that he is not guilty...and that is what the courts will ultimately determine? (I don't see confirmation of him being hit twice...Let's hope other parents don't encourage their children to believe that it's ok to pull out a knife and kill someone when allegedly "confronted"...)

So you feel that he is not guilty
Under Texas state law, he is not guilty. If they do find him guilty, it will be clear that Stand-Your-Ground is only for whites, not for Blacks.

I don't see confirmation of him being hit twice
The police report has Metcalf taking a group of his friends and surrounding Anthony. He then shouted at Anthony, and hit him. Anthony responding quietly, "touch me, and see what happens", or "touch me again, and see what happens."

Then, and this is important, because ABSOLUTELY EVERYONE AGREES THIS HAPPENED, Metcalf began shoving Anthony repeatedly. Anthony grabbed the knife out of his backpack, while being shoved by Metcalf. The knife got thrust into Metcalfs chest by both Anthony pushing forward, and Metcalf trying to use his entire body to shove him out of the tent, and down the steps.

In Texas, even arguing with someone rudely can be seen as a justification for self defense. Getting a group of thugs together to shove you down the steps would also seem like a self defense situation.

Both young men could have simply walked away. In fact, Metcalf did not even need to walk over. In most other countries, that would have been their legal responsibility.

Anthony shouldn't have been in the tent...He should have walked away...He shouldn't have killed him. And that's that... It wasn't self defense...

I can think of two reasons right off why they would not release the video.

1. Those involved are minors and it's likely Texas has shield laws against such releases.
2. The video is part of the legal case against Karmelo, and they don't want to taint evidence.

Anthony shouldn't have been in the tent
If Metcalf felt that way, he could have gotten someone in authority to tell Anthony that. It was a tent over the public stands, so he might have had a problem finding someone to do that.

There is a third possible reason, the video looks good for Anthony.

Metcalf, and his posse, were angry and aggressive, Anthony was calm. In testimony, calm can seem disturbing, especially right before a homicide. On video, calm looks good, and angry and aggressive looks very bad.
