The mother of the young Swedish social worker who was allegedly stabbed to death by a 15-year-old asylum seeker at a shelter for migrant children wept today and said, 'She was not just my daughter, she was my angel.' Alexandra Mezher, 22, was attacked by a teenage boy at her workplace, a housing facility for unaccompanied refugee children in Molndal, near Gothenburg, and later died in hospital. Today, Chiméne Mezher spoke of her heartbreak after the shock stabbing of her daughter, just months after she started working at the refugee housing.

The 22-year-old is believed to have been living with her parents, originally from Lebanon, and her younger brothers in Borås, some 40 miles from Molndal
 
A tragic loss. If there was any way of turning all minors against acts of violence we'd have found it by now.
 
We don't know the migrant's background, nor should it be an excuse. Perhaps asylum seekers are really overwhelmed by the "culture clash"? Not sure why I am trying to find an explanation. It just popped in my head.

Maybe you are trying to find an excuse because the harsh realities of the truth are too much for you to bear?

You see when many people are confronted with these types of tragedies their immediate reaction is "it makes no sense". It is part of the human condition to try to rationalize and put oneself in their shoes. Well, normal people can't fathom this type of atrocity. And the last thing they want to believe is that the person is evil or did it because of their vile islamic religion. So they make excuses for them or blame the guns

If they are genuine asylum seekers then they would be more than happy to get to the first country that was safe for them. The fact that they pay people trafficker's money to get to Germany and Sweden tells you that they are first and foremost economic migrants. Anyway the EU is finally waking up and sending border guards to Greece, Spain and Italy and building refugee camps to stop further migration. They will also force Greece to adhere to the Dublin Regulation, which of course you are totally ignorant about like much else.

I've got room for a couple. Unfortunately, the government is scares of refugees. Would that be because it was the government that bombed their country ?
 
Sorry got no pity for her.... She was working with the invaders by choice. I am sure she and her fellow femi-leftists were the ones greeting the hordes with "Welcome Refugees!" signs.

Do you have any sympathy for Rachel Corrie, the American peace-worker murdered by Israelis while trying to prevent the illegal bulldozing of Palestinians' homes ? She was attempting to prevent the creation of more refugees, after all.

Sweden is one of the main destinations for migrants entering the EU and police have warned they cannot cope with the tide of migrant-related crime. Chimene Mezher described her daughter Alexandra, 22, as an 'angel' devoted to helping some of the hundreds of migrant youths who have come to her home of Molndal without parents. Psychology graduate Miss Mezher - whose parents fled Beirut more than 25 years ago - was stabbed in the back and thigh on Monday in a block of flats housing ten youths aged 14 to 17.

So my fine feathered friend, can you answer why the Swedes are now closing their borders to further immigration? Why would a country that only a few months ago was welcoming migrants with open arms now refusing any more? Sweden was held up by the Left around the world as the nearest thing to a perfect Socialist society, so why have they changed their mind so rapidly? I don't really expect you to answer coherently though, so surprise me!
 
Europe is witnessing the rise of rightist extremism. The UK, for example, has a weak right-wing government that is highly susceptible to extreme-right pressures. Other European governments are also influenced and everybody is waiting for leadership that will fill the void created by the collapse of Merkel's moral initiative. It's a lot like the 1930s- only this time the fascists have cover.
Your own right-wing views contribute to the darkening skies, of course.
 
I am very pleased to read that other refugees stopped the killer. I also wonder why young men don't stay and fight for their own country? It puzzles me. Not trying to be difficult, but again, trying to make sense of it all.
