And the debt ceiling can not be lifted by the President.

So, it's time to talk and reach an agreement.

It's time to do what Obama insisted he could do: unite, not divide.

No the Republicans are using the debt limit as a cudgel and they are not bargaining they are no ready to deal they are only trying to obfuscate and delay and play the "left wing" media as they do in these situations until they can sway public opinion, And buffoons such as yourself are trying to help them by working this side of thing for them. It's sad that they have so many people fooled but the tea baggers are just about done because the monied interests in this country are finished with them.

As demonstrated by my comments all over this board good brother, I hold no torch for Obama .. but that doesn't mean that I carry the water of republicans either.

The suggestion that Obama won't negotiate is just silly. Congress must pay the bills and open the government .. there should be no negotiation about that. Once that happens, Obama returns to form and negotiates what he should not.

Both parties blow .. and both of us should be condemning them both. I do.
