Guess Brock Turner is just one symptom of the Stanford culture.

"When the U.S. government released its tally of investigations into sexual violence on college campuses in 2014, Stanford wasn't on the list. But in the new list that's out this month, Stanford has the most cases, with five — and the figure doesn't include the notorious assault that's been making headlines.

The Turner case was handled by the criminal justice system, not by Stanford. But the number of complaints to the Department of Education's Office of Civil Rights, which enforces the Title IX gender equity, law shows that the prestigious university is still facing criticism about how it handles such cases – criticism that has included both a protest and a federal lawsuit.

To put the number of cases in context: The federal list includes 243 sexual violence cases at 192 post-secondary institutions, as of June 1. Apart from Stanford, two other schools had four cases: Kansas State University and Saint Mary's College of Maryland. Six other schools had three cases."

Keep in mind, KSU is responsible for giving us a sexual image of a KU Jayhawk via a marching band formation. They seem to have inappropriate sexual advances on the brain.

Anyway, it's nice to see Stanford attracting such intellect to its campus. Well done, geniuses! :hand:

Two of rape-boy's erstwhile apologists have recanted their support.

Two women who filed letters in support of a former athlete convicted of sexually assaulting a woman as she lay unconscious behind a dumpster have issued apologies for their statements.

Two of those letters came from Kelly Owens, a high school guidance counselor in Dayton, Ohio, and Turner's childhood friend Leslie Rasmussen, who lives in suburban Dayton.

In Owens' letter, she said that he "is absolutely undeserving of the outcome" in the sexual assault trial.

In her letter, Rasmussen blamed political correctness for Turner's choices.

On Wednesday, CBS Dayton affiliate WHIO-TV reported that Owens apologized to her school district and said that she made a mistake.

"Of course he should be held accountable," Owens wrote. "I pray for the victim, her family and all those affected by this horrible event. I am truly sorry for the additional pain my statement has caused. I tell my students they have to be accountable, and Brock is no exception."

In a message posted to her Facebook page, Rasmussen apologized for not acknowledging "strongly enough the severity of Brock's crime."

Rasmussen wrote, "I can only say that I am committed to learning from this mistake. I am 20 years old, and it has never been more clear to me that I still have much to learn."

You can't trust these liberal universities and liberal students

I'm glad to see that Tom isn't the only JPP asshole who laughs about rape.

U.S. Rep. Ted Poe, a Republican, on Thursday demanded the removal of Judge Aaron Persky, who presided over the Stanford sexual assault case. Poe took to the House floor to call attention to the "pathetic" sentencing that Brock Turner received last week.

Poe said Persky "got it wrong" when he sentenced Turner with only six months of jail time and three years of probation.

“The judge should be removed and the rapist should do more time for the dastardly deed,” Poe said. “I hope the appeals court overturns the pathetic sentence and gives him the punishment he deserves.”

Persky has said “a prison sentence would have a severe impact.” Poe responded in the House: “Well, isn’t that the point? The punishment for rape should be longer than a semester in college.”

It is suppose to be the Star Ship Enterprise attacking the Jayhawk, and the band messed it up.
