Four of America’s leading rabbis denounced Donald Trump and his divisive rhetoric ahead of the presumptive Republican presidential nominee’s speech at the Faith and Freedom Coalition in Washington, D.C., on Friday.

“The first chapter of the Torah reminds us that all men and women are created equally in the image of God. Men and women of faith should indeed form a coalition to denounce the racism and bigotry that Trump spews forth and inspires,” Rabbi Herzfeld said in the joint press release as he referenced to the Jewish holiday of Shavuot.

It is utterly unfathomable how US democracy has withered to present just two choices to its demos- a vengeful crone or a Grand Inquisitor.

It doesn't matter who you vote for- the outcome will be horrific. Surely, it's better to abandon this farce and overturn the ballot box ? You'd be doing democracy a service.

we had chance. Bernie was the way out to some kina sanity.
 
Yes, Sanders can still be seen to be upholding the principles of democracy. I wonder if he'll deliberately split the convention.
 
Yes- it would be better for Bernie supporters to oppose Billary and let the Trumpet in than to despoil their own democratic integrity. He'll be impeached in record time anyway.
