Breivik's Facebook page appeared to have been blocked by late evening. Earlier, it had listed interests including bodybuilding, conservative politics...he had set up a Twitter account a few days ago and posted a single message on 17 July saying: "One person with a belief is equal to the force of 100,000 who have only interests."
Norwegian daily Verdens Gang quoted a friend as saying he became a rightwing extremist in his late 20s. It said he expressed strong nationalistic views in online debates and had been a strong opponent of the idea that people of different cultural backgrounds can live alongside each other.

What's quite interesting is that Breivik isn't a Fundamentalist Christian. In fact, despite an obsession with Europe's "Christian roots," it appears he was not especially religious. From his own manifesto: "If you have a personal relationship with Jesus Christ and God then you are a religious Christian. Myself and many more like me do not necessarily have a personal relationship with Jesus Christ and God. We do however believe in Christianity as a cultural, social, identity and moral platform. This makes us Christian."
He also writes, "I’m not going to pretend I’m a very religious person as that would be a lie. I’ve always been very pragmatic and influenced by my secular surroundings and environment…Religion is a crutch for many weak people and many embrace religion for self serving reasons as a source for drawing mental strength."
A fundamentalist Christian is one who interprets the Bible literally -- not an accurate classification of Breivik's beliefs. In fact, all fundamentalist Christians would say Breivik is on his way to Hell.
Ultimately, it would seem any mass murderer who isn't a Muslim is automatically classified by the left as a "conservative Christian." The left's incessant dick-sucking of Islam has reached a new low...

You are right. However when I started the thread it was reported and believed that he was a fundamentalist christian.

As far as I can recall, you've never started a thread about Islamic extremism; yet, you were johnny on the spot to gleefully proclaim Breivik a fundamentalist Christian before all the facts were in.
