Trump left for his meeting in Russia with Putin angry at Putin and with red lines drawn. He was leaving that meeting with a Cease fire and some agreements and he was not allowing Putin any wiggle room.
After one look in Putin's eyes, Trump resolve melted and he came away from the meeting saying there would be no cease fire and fighting would continue as they negotiated but he said Putin would come to the table now, since Trump insisted and gave the concession on the cease fire.
As of today Putin has done ZERO and Trump traveling to Russia for the meeting was a complete waste.
Putin held firm and Trump melted.
On to Trump's next threat which is Trump saying the US may send longer range missiles to Ukraine.
Well Putin does not like that and has already sent Trump a message that he may stop speaking to him and not like him anymore if Trump goes thru with it...
