Putin announced a two day ceasefire for the 6th and the 7th. Then midway through the 6th announced it was all a ruse to attack more severely.
Even Putin admits he cannot be trusted. He used a supposed ceasefire to try to advance.
This brings up the question of how we would enforce any peace agreement with him. He promises peace if he is given land, Ukraine completely disarms, and there is a promise of no intervention if he breaks his promises... So in other words, he just wants to rearm a bit and then attack a Ukraine we have forced to disarm for him.
