Public Housing and United States citizens vs illegal immigrants

If you are a United States citizen and live in Harlem, Brownsville or the South Bronx in New York City and cannot afford the outrageous rents and have been trying to get into public housing, the Democrat Party Leadership has made your task almost impossible by allowing millions of other countries poverty-stricken to flood across our border. And how is this hurting you? See:

Illegals Fueling Public Housing Shortage | RealClearPolitics!

“Housing shortages are plunging New York City and Los Angeles into crisis. Affordable rents are scarce. Families are doubling up. Shelters are jam-packed. And over 100,000 people are sleeping sprawled on the streets of these two cities. The wait-list for public housing is over four years long in LA and staggering 10 years in New York. These lists would be even longer if public officials hadn’t closed them to any new applicants.”

The article goes on to point out that illegal immigrants who have a baby born in the U.S. are designated a “mixed immigration status family” which in turn makes them eligible for public housing.

The Trump administration put an end to this crap but as soon as the Democrat Leadership took over it put an end to Trump‘s American Citizen first policy and opened the public housing door to illegal immigrants. Not only that, but in addition, the Biden Administration has made taxpayer financed vouchers to obtain public housing also available to illegal immigrants.

And here we are today in America under a Democrat Leadership where American, taxpaying Citizens, are made to compete with illegal immigrants for scarce public housing.

And, if you think that is bad, American tax-paying Citizens also pay for the births of Anchor Babies born to illegal aliens!

Let us not forget during the coming election what the Democrat Party Leadership has done to our businesses, our families, our children and our homeland.

Hmmm...

Illegals flocking to NYC and racking up huge tabs in welfare....

Nobody else is flocking to NYC....

You are aware that your article is over three years old, so if the circumstances were so dire as you and the author feel, how come it hasn’t bo8led over into a major crisis today, three years later?

Check out the population exodus from NY.

Overall, between April 1, 2020, when the last census estimates were released, and July 1, 2021, New York state lost more than 365,000 people, or 1.8% of its population, dropping below 20 million residents.Mar 24, 2022

Incorrect, people are moving back to NYC (https://www.businessinsider.com/mov...ley-shrinking-postal-service-jefferies-2021-7), and there always exists a younger generation eager to relocate to the Big Apple, as the theme goes, “if you can make it there you can make it anywhere”

Wait a minute, you telling us 365,000 people moving out of a State with close to twenty million is significant? Especially given it ranks eighth in population density and close to half of the State is park land

Correct the year the census was taken, and it doesn’t tell us if some catastrophe that supposedly is occurring today based upon an article offered over three years ago
