Thanks to Obama/Holder, Nikolas Cruz was never arrested despite all of his bullshit behavior.

Had he ever been arrested, he would have failed the background check and never gotten the gun

But, Broward County school districts wanted Obama Bucks.

Parkland of course is a majority white school district. So anyone with a mexican sounding name being arrested would fuck up their statistics and cost them money.

This is where your dirty money is. The school district profited off of the deaths of these children. Not the NRA.

So you don't think that the program Obama/Holder put in place had anything to do with police being called 39 times about Cruz's violent behavior and never being arrested?

The program incentivized schools to NOT have kids arrested. This is the kind of perverse unintended consequence you get from misguided thinking.

But, why expect any critical thinking from a lefty.

That’s exactly how screwed up this is.

No, it's not "obama's fault" he was an over the top extremist liberal. That's just what he was , and unapologetic about it. He wouldn't change a thing if he had it to do over again. His attempt at criminal socialism backfired.
You can't make a criminal a non-criminal just by refusing to prosecute them. Artificially redistributing criminal activity by race by simply not prosecuting minorities is just plain stupid.
 
Here is how this went down.

Obama says "We have to decrease the school to prison pipeline"

They give money to local school districts to "incentivize" them

The school districts don't want to do the hard work to decrease crime, so they just change the definition of crimes and VOILA, what would once land a kid in jail now only gets them a slap on the wrist.

And then you get Nikolas Cruz

It is amazing how the left doesn't want to see how the establishment failed here from the local school officials all the way up to the FBI

Yeah, several districts worked with community law enforcement to prevent arrests and charges against adolescents- 39 times police were called about Cruz's violence.

Part of the problem with tying school funds to individual students is that districts look for ways to work around attendance problems. I believe that students would be m ore effectively served by using a grant block formula for funding based on population. It would reinvigorate the entire educational experience. Right now attendance drives dollars. It impacts a schools willingness to discipline students. This creates burned out teachers, as well as disrupts the classroom for those students who want to be there.
