Project 2025 is the promotion of White supremacy, not in white-pointed hats, but in suits. It ensures that rich White men in power retain their power and continue to get richer. Project 2025 is the culmination of over 50 years of work by the Heritage Foundation, which promotes itself as a conservative “think tank” and promoter of freedom ― by which they mean the freedom of White men to gobble up all the resources. Many of its members now staff the White House and the federal government.
Project 2025 intends to take us backward with the plan of letting unregulated capitalism reign. There is no bottom to their greed: more villas, more yachts, more Mercedeses, and all at the expense of the 98% of us who work to support them AND at the expense of our planet.
We’ve been on this trajectory since the beginning of the United States when the Constitution was written to protect the landowners. When they said “we the people,” they were “the people” ― not women, not Native Americans, not the slaves who built the infrastructure of this country. Now we have a U.S. Supreme Court made up of “originalists” who want to interpret the Constitution as if we’re still living in 1788,
