Pro-Abortion Protesters Threaten Justice Kavanaugh at His Home, Chant: “Cut His Time

The protesters chanted in call and response as they marched past a line of police in front of Kavanaugh’s Chevy Chase, Maryland home, “Cut his time short! A rapist should not rule the court!” and “No privacy for us! No peace for you!”

Video of the protest was posted to Twitter by the Daily Signal’s Mary Margaret Olohan.

Kavanaugh’s home has been the target of protests since a draft leak in May of last year of the Dobbs abortion decision overturning Roe and Casey that returned the matter of abortion to the states. The final decision was was released in June.

A lone gunman showed up at Kavanaugh’s home one night in June intending to assassinate the justice but got cold feet and was arrested nearby.

Weekly protests have taken place at the homes of the six conservative justices on the Court since the Dobbs leak.

Kavanaugh was falsely accused of rape during his confirmation hearings in 2018 with wild, unproven stories from his high school and college years.

As Olahan notes, protesting at justices’ homes to influence the Court is against the law.
 
One wonders what the reaction would have been had the protests been in front of Sotomayor's or Kagen's homes.

They are violating federal law.

If they are going to ignore that federal law, perhaps the Civil Rights laws should be ignored.

Yeah Democrats arrest protesters that did not enter the Capital building but they don't arrest protesters threatening Kavanaugh's life.

No arrests were reported from tonight’s threatening protest.


Of course, no arrests when looting, arson, assault and murder. But, complain at school or don't wear a mask and it's off to jail.

Had less than fifty protesters outside his house on the fifteenth anniversary of Roe, when someone gets around to attacking him with a hammer get back to us
