Charles welcomed Meghan into the family with open arms, actually he went far out of his way to help her and Harry, and then they fucked the family.

Which makes Harry's betrayal even worse, and harder to come back from. And then too Harry decided to drag their mother into it, claiming that he was motivated to hurt the family because he did not want to see his wife treated like Diana...which was a complete fabrication.
 
I refuse to blame Meghan for what Harry does, because I am not an idiot. I suspect that William takes the same view.
 
I dont know if it is true or not but I was reading that the dead Queen never gave up on Harry.

It is beginning to look like Charles and William are ready.

the queen went way past what was deserved with those two which was probably the right thing fo her to do.
Chuck has no further need to mend fences that the two petulant ones insis on breaking willy nilly.

Plus Charles is not an idiot....he knows that the Monarchy's enemies were waiting for the Queen to die, that they will be coming hard now. Enemies must be treated as enemies, even when they are family members.

Chuck really is in a precarious spot as there really is no point in a monarch and his record as price has been quite checkered.

I do think brits are tired of Megan and Harry even if Hollywood is not.

The next year or so will be interesting.

they already made their choices. its the crown who needs to just accept them and put them at arm's length as they wished.

actually the biggest reason the queen tried playing nice was the purported racial slurs. but thats over and done now.
