Pres and VP Together

As far as the President and VP go are they only not allowed to travel on the same flight? It sounds like Obama and Biden were both at the Georgetown-Duke game today. I would assume they could be together where ever they want outside of flying but was just curious what was official protocol.

As an aside did anyone watch the game when Obama guest announced? They had a funny bit where they showed tape of him playing and missing a left-landed lay-up and the announcer asked if he can go to his right. Obama responded by saying he met with the Republicans yesterday.

I went to the Republican House Caucus just yesterday to prove that I can go to my right once in a while, but there's no doubt that I have a stronger left hand.
