Trying to give you people cover, he will claim mission accomplished. But the truth is, Trump is not willing to take the political loss. His very unpopular policy and execution in Minnesota will soon cost him.

The American people and the people of Minnesota have won this battle, too bad it cost two lives. Let the retreat begin.

I don't think so. Not yet. trump and his thugs tend to double-down when in trouble. Remember their "solution" to the murder of Renee Good was to send in thousands of more agents.

This will end very badly for everyone.

I dont know, he has signaled (as he often does) a retreat. He softens the ground by suggesting something like it about two weeks before he does it. Once the news is done reporting on Pretti's death, he will slowly declare victory and move on to a new scandal. Maybe attack Cuba or something.

What did you win exactly? Decent American people see you twats protecting illegals while making them to pay billions of dollars of fraudulent schemes. If people want to see evil it's easy to find, just look at a democrat

I really do hope they leave - but I fear they won't. It's so fucking horrible Republicans and SCOTUS are letting this shit happen. People are not going to forget who stood by and let this happen.

I don't know where people like Noem and Miller are going to live when this is all over. Probably in a gated community in Florida, like trump.

I doubt it.
Trump doesn't back off like that.
It's not the American Minnesotans out there protesting like morons, mostly. No. :nono:
The whole thing is contrived. Democrats have done this type of thing since at least the 1960s.
They bus paid agitators in and get them hotel rooms to foment riots.
I bet Minnesotan business owners don't want their places burned to the ground like Tim Walz does.

Border Patrol agents and ICE are not white collar crime investigators. It should be the FBI busting the scammers.

Murdering Americans in front of the entire United States, much less the entire world, is not a good look.

You are a conspiracy theory kook.

King George learned that lesson.
King Donald and his MAGAt traitors will learn a similar lesson.

Lest we forget, the mad King George never personally suffered for the mass murder of Americans and his policies in the New World, but his supporters in America certainly did. LOL

If history gives an indication, life won't be good for all the MAGAts once this nonsense ends.

Example from Google AI:
what happened to american tories after the american revolution?

After the American Revolution, American Tories (Loyalists) experienced varied fates:
a minority went into exile in other British territories, while the majority remained in the United States and were eventually reintegrated into American society.

Exile and Resettlement
An estimated 60,000 to 80,000 Loyalists (including white settlers, free Black people, and Native Americans who sided with the British) left the newly formed United States, becoming refugees throughout the British Empire.

  • British North America (Canada): The largest number of exiles (around 42,000) went to
    Canada
    , primarily to
    Nova Scotia
    (which included modern-day
    New Brunswick
    at the time),
    Quebec
    , and
    Prince Edward Island
. These "United Empire Loyalists" played a significant role in shaping the English-speaking character of Canada, and many received land grants and some financial compensation from the British government.
  • Great Britain: Wealthier Loyalists or those with strong professional and family ties to Britain (including many Anglican clergy) settled in
    London
and other British locales. Many faced difficulties adjusting to life in Britain and felt like unwelcome strangers, with some eventually returning to the U.S..
  • The Caribbean and Other Locations: Southern Loyalists, often bringing their slaves, relocated to British colonies in the West Indies, such as the
    Bahamas
    and
    Jamaica
, or to British-held East and West Florida (until it was ceded to
    Spain
). A group of Black Loyalists, facing discrimination in
    Nova Scotia
, later emigrated to the new colony of
    Sierra Leone
in West Africa, where they named the capital Freetown.

Fate of Those Who Remained
The majority of Loyalists—between 80% and 90%—remained in the United States after the war.

  • Legal and Social Repression: During the war, Loyalists in Patriot-controlled areas faced harassment, mob violence (such as tarring and feathering), and property confiscation. States passed laws disenfranchising them, imposing fines, or banning them from holding office.
  • Reintegration: After the war, temperance eventually cooled. Driven by war exhaustion, the desire to repair community ties, and an interest in restoring economic stability, most states adopted policies of reconciliation. Many remaining Loyalists took oaths of allegiance and successfully reintegrated into American society, generally retaining their property.
  • Property and Compensation: The Treaty of Paris (1783) included provisions for the U.S. government to recommend that states provide restitution for confiscated Loyalist property, but this was largely not enforced, and few ever got their property back. The British government, however, did provide some financial compensation to the exiles through a formal claims process.
Ultimately, the divisions created by the Revolution began to heal in the new republic, and most anti-Tory laws were repealed by the late 1780s or shortly thereafter.
What specific region did your ancestor live in, as their experience might shed light on regional differences in how Loyalists were treated?
