President Trump is implementing a targeted list of restrictions that will enhance vetting for nationals from eight countries, senior administration officials announced Sunday.

The eight countries are Chad, Iran, Libya, North Korea, Somalia, Syria, Venezuela and Yemen.

These states failed to comply with the U.S. information-sharing requirements that aim to make vetting processes stronger.

Iran, Libya, Syria, Yemen and Somalia are part of the president's initial travel ban.

Four additional countries have been added to the list of states that do not meet the new vetting requirements: Iraq, North Korea, Chad and Venezuela.

The restrictions are based on an objective worldwide review, not origin or religion.

The proclamation comes the same day that Trump’s 90-day ban on visitors from six nations is set to expire.

Japan saw the carnage that open borders bring and wants no part of jihadist terror.

Japan’s prime minister poured cold water on the idea of Japan opening its doors while Obama and DEMOCRATS were still trying to open our borders. According to Ministry of Justice data, it accepted just 11 asylum seekers out of a record 5,000 applications last year, although Japanese officials say most of the asylum applicants were from other Asian countries and were already living in Japan.
