And that it was precipitated by such a disreputable character as Matt Gaetz makes it just that much funnier.

The final vote was 216-210, with eight Republicans joining all the Democrats to vote to remove McCarthy.

it's not the Republicans who decided he shouldn't lead the majority party......I didn't realize until this year that Demmycrats vote on the leader of the Republican side of the isle and Republicans vote on who leads the Demmycrat side....I just assumed each party picked their own leader......maybe there should be a vote tomorrow on who the minority leader should be.......I bet the Republicans could find a real fun candidate.....then you could say the demmycrats are in disarray......
