Giving loyalty to Donald Trump, is like for those of you have had kids, is like giving loyalty to a seven year old child?!!

  • Around 52% of Republicans said they want to hear more about loyalty to Trump, a new CBS poll shows.
  • And 44% of them said they want their primary nominees to focus on the 2020 election, per the poll.
  • It surveyed 2,041 adults in the US from May 18 to 20 on political issues.

Just over half of Republican voters want their midterm candidates to demonstrate their support for former President Donald Trump, according to a poll by CBS News and British analytics firm YouGov.

The results of the poll, which sampled 2,041 adults in the US from May 18 to 20, showed that 52% of Republican voters want GOP nominees to focus on showing loyalty to Trump, CBS reported on Sunday.

Of the Republican voters polled, 44% said they want the candidates to put the spotlight on the 2020 presidential election, per the outlet. CBS' poll also found that 26% of Republican voters polled want the GOP nominees to focus on probing the January 6 Capitol riot.

People voted for a basement dwelling dementia patient in record numbers because folks hate Trump that much. I don't think nominating Trump would be a good idea. I, for one, am against this.

I am kinda surprised it is only 52%, if I recall, the last poll I saw said that close to seventy percent thought Trump was elected in 2020

It depends. Biden isnt going to run for re-election, and the Dems are messing up so badly..
But i agree why take the baggage with Trump? MAGA candidates are all over the Republican party.
I like DeSantis

Their allegiance to a false prophet is astounding, given their claim they adhere to the 10 Commandments. Curious.

Well at least its down from over 70% a year ago, which probably means certain repukes have snapped out of their un-American desire to be treasonous suckers for Putin's concubine tRump and encountering a curse as a result, dying off at being covid deniers and natural causes.

Republicans uniformly oppose Bidenflation, energy dependence, and open borders. You have it all figured out.

Actually, tRump and his repuke insurgency created the means for inflation to develop as this terrible failure created by the tRump insurgency just did not suddenly start in January 2021. tRump's inflation has been a developing economic issue that took four years of his lawlessly hacked in insurgency shit show to create that president Biden inherited to deal with:

The Trump administration was ruining the pre-COVID-19 economy too, just more slowly

Key takeaways:
Long before the COVID-19 pandemic the Trump administration was squandering the pockets of strength in the American economy it had inherited.
Broad-based prosperity requires strength on the supply, demand, and distributive sides of the economy, and Trump administration policies were either weak or outright damaging on these fronts.
Demand: Most of the Trump tax cuts went to already-rich corporations and households, who tend to save rather than spend most of any extra dollar they’re given.
Supply: Business investment plummeted under the Trump administration, despite their lavishing tax cuts on corporate business.
Distribution: The Trump administration undercut labor standards and rules that can buttress workers’ bargaining power."

The Biden Boom: Economic Recovery in 2021
President Joe Biden took office one year ago amid one of the worst economies in generations, but the U.S. economy has since made tremendous progress toward recovery, and workers are benefiting.
