Majority want unvaxxed locked in their homes, close to half want people jailed for questioning jabs.

https://summit.news/2022/01/17/poll...-covid-internment-camps-for-the-unvaccinated/

From the survey:

'– Fifty-nine percent (59%) of Democratic voters would favor a government policy requiring that citizens remain confined to their homes at all times, except for emergencies, if they refuse to get a COVID-19 vaccine. Such a proposal is opposed by 61% of all likely voters, including 79% of Republicans and 71% of unaffiliated voters.

Nearly half (48%) of Democratic voters think federal and state governments should be able to fine or imprison individuals who publicly question the efficacy of the existing COVID-19 vaccines on social media, television, radio, or in online or digital publications. Only 27% of all voters – including just 14% of Republicans and 18% of unaffiliated voters – favor criminal punishment of vaccine critics.

Forty-five percent (45%) of Democrats would favor governments requiring citizens to temporarily live in designated facilities or locations if they refuse to get a COVID-19 vaccine. Such a policy would be opposed by a strong majority (71%) of all voters, with 78% of Republicans and 64% of unaffiliated voters saying they would Strongly Oppose putting the unvaccinated in “designated facilities.”

– While about two-thirds (66%) of likely voters would be against governments using digital devices to track unvaccinated people to ensure that they are quarantined or socially distancing from others, 47% of Democrats favor a government tracking program for those who won’t get the COVID-19 vaccine.

How far are Democrats willing to go in punishing the unvaccinated? Twenty-nine percent (29%) of Democratic voters would support temporarily removing parents’ custody of their children if parents refuse to take the COVID-19 vaccine. That’s much more than twice the level of support in the rest of the electorate – seven percent (7%) of Republicans and 11% of unaffiliated voters – for such a policy.'

I am not huge on Rasmussen.

But still...
tracking devices?
Separating parents from their children?
Internment camps?

This is starting to get frigging NUTS.

Yes retarded Nazi woud be in favor of these things. Imagine if these fuckers were in charge in 1776? We'd be talking like those pompous asshole in the YUK

I'll bet ten bucks the words 'internment camp' were not part of the poll questions. McRocket has proven to be pretty fucking stupid.

Hey...the great troll finally called me 'stupid'!
A right of passage.

And if you had bothered to read the OP.
You would see that the words 'internment camp' were in the title of the article I quoted.
Duh!

I STRONGLY suggest you learn to read better before you start typing your ad hominem's.
That way?
They will make a modicum of sense, at least.

Have a nice day, Mr. Troll.

Well, consider his sources. Only a fascist moron would quote from this one. This alt-right source is quoting a Rasmussen article, which only at the very end gives a link to the actual poll and the questions. You will notice that it does not separate responses by political affiliation.

As for the poorly-rated "Summit News" the idiot OP quotes from:

I’m now on round two. Delta back in July and now omicron. The Delta infection came courtesy of a trumpet who lied about his status. This one who knows. It’s Florida after all. This one much milder than delta but still annoying and disruptive. It’s time to ban the unvaccinated from public venues and transportation. This is ridiculous.

The only unvaxxed have a right to COVID-assisted suicide, but they don't have a right to clog up our ERs and ICUs.
That is why I have always advocated leper colonies on isolated islands. The Aleutian Islands would be my proposal.

I like it. They should be sick AND cold. Schadenfreude.

Or stranded on the Aleutians, fuckface?

I'm just getting your compendium started. There's a couple of other doozies around here, too.

Nazi wanna-be motherfuckers all.

Well, idiot, anyone who believes the rot that you posted IS stupid. Live with it. Here is the actual poll. I looked at your article; only at the very end does it give a link to where they got this bullshit. Rasmussen. Now go click on the Rasmussen article, which Summit basically copied. At the end you'll find a link to the poll questions and the percent who answered what. Three things stand out:

1. Only 1,015 people were surveyed.
2. It does not say "internment camps."
3. It does NOT break down responses by political affiliation.

Here, get your nanny to read this to you:

Here is an ABC News/Ipsos Poll from a few weeks ago.
And they only sampled 982 people.

(go to the bottom of the article)
Soooo...how many people does your highness require a poll to ask?

2. It does not say "internment camps."
the word 'internment camps' is from the article I quoted.
I did not add it.
If you have a problem with it - i suggest you contact the author of the article.

3. It does NOT break down responses by political affiliation.

Wow...you are REALLY getting bent out of shape on this.

I think if you follow this link?

https://www.rasmussenreports.com/pu...2022/crosstabs_heartland_covid_january_5_2022

You will see the breakdowns that you say they never did.

I will now await the apology for the things you have posted erroneously about me/the OP I started in the last hour...that I am quite sure you will never post.

Bye now.

I gave McRocket a pass on Epoch Times because his reasoning was acceptable, but, 3rd time with some ridiculous rag is too much. He can't excuse the use of trash misinformation sites.

I said in the OP:

'I am not huge on Rasmussen.'

Rasmussen is known to be right leaning.
But I have never seen them seriously accused of poll fabrication.

No matter how they asked this poll...these answers are highly disturbing.
And they should be to ANY, decent American who values the Constitution.

And the fact that several people on this board alone have called for the deaths of anti-vaxxers backs up the severity of the claims this poll makes.

I admit it. I posted a scurrilous source that made unfounded claims based on a poor sampling of people, none of whom were identified by political affiliation. I'll go away now and lick my balls in shame.

About time you realized that you are outclassed, outmatched, and outgunned -- and always will be.

Enjoy your licking.

So...instead of admitting that all of your points were COMPLETELY invalid?
You resort to this kind of childish, ad hominem nonsense?

I thought you were at least a little better than this.
My mistake.

So...you are just another, sad troll like the rest of the alt-left (and some alt-right) on here.

Understood.

Have a WONDERFUL day.

Yep. He won't address the poll itself, that I provided a link to. No where in that poll does it say "internment camps," nor does it give any demographic breakdown for the respondents. A freshman college kid could have done the same thing by walking around the mall near campus.

This is as close as it comes:

"Would you strongly favor, somewhat favor, somewhat oppose or strongly oppose a proposal to limit the spread of the coronavirus by having federal or state governments require that citizens temporarily live in designated facilities or locations if they refuse to get a COVID-19 vaccine?

13% - strongly favor
13% - somewhat favor
13% - somewhat oppose
58% - strongly oppose
3% - not sure

Note that only 26% strongly or somewhat favored this idea. For all we know, they could be Republiqans, Martians, or Klingons. 72%, btw, either somewhat or strongly opposed the idea. What do you want to bet a number of them vote (D)?
