PolitiFact Pants on Fire Lies

I was browsing PolitiFact.com and came across their list of "Pants on Fire" lies. There were 159 listed.

Twenty-two were made by liberals, lefties or left-leaning people/organizations. A whopping 137 were made by conservatives, righties or right-leaning people/organizations.

Why should anyone be surprised that libs are so skeptical of conservative pols and voters, after reading this list? <rhetorical question>

Statements we say are Pants on Fire!

it never stops rush just hammered a guess and called him a liar for bringing up Rush being stopped by customs with too many pills not in his name.

He called the guy a liar.

It is cold hard documented truth that he did that.

great....so conservatives are bad because your source claims they lie more

can liberals like you and evince sink any lower?

forget party line ideology. since our country's founding, parties have changed, in fact, parties have changed ideology without changing names. stop sticking by your "side" simply for the sake of doing so.

and before christie shits herself, i've said same thing to bravo, dixie and others. so don't go there.

Thanks Christiefan. I wonder what the hypocrites will have to say about this. Probably try to deride your source or something stupid like that.

What is really interesting is how many of the lies are told by Romney, the GOP leading contender.

Did I say conservatives were bad, yes or no?

Apparently you spouted off and didn't actually look at all eight pages of the link. Pols include Romney, Palin, McCain, santorum just to name a few. Voters are represented by the lying emails circulating and blogs being passed off as truth when they are totally lacking in fact.

Why don't you actually pick out a few of the conservative points and argue why they're wrong, instead of your usual default to ad homs?

That's another rhetorical question because attacking the messenger is all you do.

The trouble is, who is politifact to be the supreme arbiter of truth? Please tell me why you give such credence to their list. Please tell us how you know they have assembled an accurate representation of the level of lies coming from our leaders. From what I've seen, they all lie. I read politifacts bullshit in the fish wrap newspaper here in PDX and I can tell you, they ignore leftists and focus almost exclusively on righties. They never print more than just some blurb and never cite the source other than the actual quote. They never show the math

Show us your math

Romney is an east coast conservative. Which means he's a centrist. He'll side with bible thumpers and the gun grabbers. He'll side with bankers and the climate scammers. Romney is Establishment.

It's not all math. A lot of it is videotape. Examples. Hillary Clinton said: "I remember landing under sniper fire. There was supposed to be some kind of a greeting ceremony at the airport, but instead we just ran with our heads down to get into the vehicles to get to our base." Believable or not? Maybe at first glance. Fact: Film of the landing at Tuzla was found and there was no sniper fire or running with heads down.

Bill Clinton: "Denies that he said the Obama campaign "played the race card." Fact: YouTube video exists to show Clinton did say this.

Orly Taitz: "Birthers have obtained a copy of Obama's Kenyan birth certificate." Fact: It appears that a South Australian loaded an image of his own birth certificate onto a family history website and that the format was used by others to 'create' a document which purported to be a Kenyan birth certificate for Barack Obama.

And so on, and so on. I didn't say Politifact is perfect but when they list lies and give the backup to support their findings, I'll believe them until someone else comes along to debunk the story. If some conservative wants to go over the list and pick out the mistakes, I'll listen. As long as those mistakes are backed up with another set of facts.

seriously, why do you lie so much? yeah, this thread is giving kudos to the right and proclaiming how they are not bad...

you EMPHASISED the 137 and then made a snarky comment about libs being skeptical of conservatives

yeah, your OP says nothing bad about conservatives...

You are as dumb as a stump. The article is about the people and groups on both sides whose lies were refuted.

Did I say conservatives were bad, yes or no?

Facts, not your usual (fake) extra-sensory perception.

Pick out one of those 137 lies and refute it with fact. Just one.

And feel free to cite the same kind of article about liberals. One backed by fact.

Yurskin doesn't need "facts" to refute claims made by others...he's got amazing mental powers that tell him what Liberals REALLY mean.

He is the Amazing Yurskin, after all!

did your OP say good things about conservatives? lmao....what a delusional liar. the article may have talked about both sides, HOWEVER, YOU singled out conservatives and INCREASED the font size of their purported lies and then made a snotty comment about no wonder libs don't trust cons

you're pathetic to even try and claim your OP did not say anything bad about conservatives

christie would have you believe that the underlined and her enlarged font of the so called conservative lies is not saying anything at all bad about conservatives

Ha ha, you are too much.

I criticized the politicians and voters who spread false information and were busted by PolitiFact.. If you want to take that to mean "all conservatives", well, I guess you know them better than I do. Furthermore, you have no answer to the fact that close to 90% of the lies in the article were made by right leaners. Instead, in your sad, whiny way you think you're turning the tables on me with ad homs. You can't post a single comment without criticizing someone, and you just refuse to address the topics anymore.

You've turned into a peevish, irritable cry-baby, and it's really unattractive.

1. where did i say "all". link up or admit you lied again about what i said.

2. show me where in your OP you make any criticism of the left like you did the right.

thanks

Romney is a chameleon. Being a liar and flip flopper he doesn't have much to offer. Additionaly he has no common sense. He ran against Ted in '92, a race he couldn't possibly win, then president in '08, a race no republican could have won.

how is a liar? what has he lied about? given you routinely call people liars and never back it up....this should be interesting
