The man has been identified the suspect behind threatening a mass shooting as Matthew Harris.

Harris is a former UCLA lecturer and postdoctoral fellow who made threats to the philosophy department and wrote an 800-page manifesto containing racist, misogynistic and anti-Semitic remarks.

The Times obtained a partial copy of Harris’ email.

He makes references to race and uses several profanities. He included links to his manifesto and videos, including the video that appeared to threaten a mass shooting.

“Da war is comin,” he wrote. “forward dis [expletive] to our tha goldhead caucasoid princess.”

Harris had posted about 300 videos to a YouTube account, with most of them being published on Monday, according to Newsweek. His account now features a message from YouTube stating the page was "terminated ".

LOOKS LIKE USA TODAY COULDN'T FIND ANY PICTURES OF THE ACCUSED

A former lecturer at the University of California, Los Angeles, was arrested Tuesday after police say he sent an 800-page manifesto riddled with violent threats to former colleagues. Court documents also show he is accused of previously sending messages saying he would “hunt” and kill a professor.

Matthew Harris, 31, was taken into custody in Boulder, Colorado, Tuesday — an arrest that led to evacuations and disrupted schools in two states. Police spent hours before his arrest evacuating a nearby elementary school and some fraternity and sorority homes at the University of Colorado Boulder. Authorities took him into custody peacefully after a standoff outside his apartment.

UCLA alerted law enforcement after a "concerning email and posting" was sent to some faculty at the school Sunday. Early Tuesday, the school said law enforcement confirmed the person was not in California. But all classes were moved online "out of an abundance of caution," the school said.

Boulder Police Chief Maris Herold said police at UCLA tracked the suspect to Boulder and alerted local authorities and federal agencies.

Herold said the threats were outlined in an 800-page manifesto sent to UCLA, calling it "very violent and very disturbing." She said the levels of violence detailed though the pages were "alarming." The manifesto also included references to Boulder, universities and schoolyards, she said.

"Upon reviewing parts of the manifesto, we identified thousands of references to violence, stating things such as killing, death, murder, shootings, bombs, schoolyard massacres," Herold said.

LOOKS LIKE THE LA TIMES COULDN'T FIND A PICTURE OF HARRIS EITHER

On Sunday, Harris sent an email just before 1 a.m. to his former students, replete with racist slurs against Jewish and East Asian people. Administrative Vice Chancellor Michael Beck confirmed in an Instagram video Monday night that UCLA staff members were aware that Harris had messaged students.

According to an email sent to members of the psychology department and obtained by The Times, UCLA police told a member of the Department of Ecology and Evolutionary Biology that “at this time we’re not concerned about anything happening.”

Harris’ YouTube channel contained more than 300 videos, the majority of which were uploaded Monday. By midnight, the channel displayed a message saying that the account had been terminated.

A video titled “UCLA PHILOSOPHY (MASS SHOOTING)” was posted Sunday and contained disturbing imagery, including footage of the 2017 mass shooting at a Las Vegas music festival and clips from the 2003 movie “Zero Day,” which is loosely based on the Columbine High School mass shooting.

The Times obtained a partial copy of Harris’ email to the UCLA philosophy department.

He makes references to race and uses several profanities. He included links to his manifesto and videos, including the video that appeared to threaten a mass shooting.

Maybe he was trying to say......JEWS WILL NOT REPLACE HIM!

:dunno:

Since he's obviously not a "white supremacist" (not that you'd know that without doing some digging), the leftist media seems anxious to avoid labeling him a "domestic terrorist", for some reason.

What might that reason be?

THE WASHINGTON POST HAD NO PICTURES OF HARRIS EITHER?

Last year, a University of California at Irvine professor got a restraining order against Harris after he threatened in an email to “hunt” the professor and “put bullets in her skull,” the Associated Press reported Tuesday evening.

But they did manage to insert this into their story:

The threats at UCLA come after at least eight historically Black colleges and universities received bomb threats this week, prompting campus closures and investigations. Howard University in D.C.; Bowie State University in Bowie, Md.; Delaware State University in Dover; Bethune-Cookman University in Daytona Beach, Fla.; Albany State University in Albany, Ga.; and Southern University and A&M College in Baton Rouge received reports of bomb threats Monday, according to statements from the schools and local law enforcement. They were given all-clear notices by late Monday afternoon. On Tuesday, Fort Valley State University in Fort Valley, Ga., and Spelman College in Atlanta also reported bomb threats. Fort Valley State had suspended all operations as of early Tuesday afternoon. A Spelman spokeswoman told the Atlanta Journal-Constitution that no device was found on campus.

I wonder what conclusions they want their readers to draw.

ODDLY, THE PERP ISN'T IN THE SHOT

It is captioned thus:

Police officer escorts people past a police line in front of University Hill Elementary School across from the campus of the University of Colorado after a man accused of making mass shooting threats against the college as well as the University of California, Los Angeles, was arrested Tuesday, Feb. 1, 2022, in Boulder, Colo. The police operation caused the evacuation of the elementary school and shelter-in-place orders for nearby residents on Boulder's University Hill. (AP Photo/David Zalubowski)

You know the reason.......;)

You know the reason.......

Indeed.

The JPP lefties sure aren't interested in Matthew Harris, are they?

He's already joined Timothy Simpkins and Darrell Brooks in the memory hole.

If you don't recall who they are, that's because they didn't fit the narrative either.

Old lefty message board trick from way back. No response,....thread dies and drops off the front page,....NOBODY SEES IT. Thats what they want,...they like to play hidey hole with information that is unhelpful to their cause. Bumps can stop them in their tracks though....;)

Rarely will they ever respond to a damaging thread. They want it to drop off the main board as fast as humanly possible so way less people ever see it or get the info contained inside.

I suspect that you're correct, so what should we do?

I am wondering if Legion is even telling the truth about this!

I mean, he is not always honest about things.

Legion has lied to us so much- For me, Legion is like 3 STRIKES and he is OUT!

It's called personal Integrity! It's called reputation! It's called Trustworthiness! He simply failed us on all that!
