The town of Concord has banned the sale of bottled drinking water in town beginning in 2011.
"We only have one planet and I just don't want to see it spoiled," said Jean Hill, who introduced the measure at Concord's Town Meeting.

No plastics are justified. But that a moot point.sence so much plastics already exsists.I guess it would be wasteful not to use it. Its just that so many plastic water bottles end up in rivers, streams. beaches. highways that something needs to be done. Here in Oregon we put a nickel deposit on each bottle.

I'm actually impressed with Oregon's recycling system, but its retarded to ban plastics just because a bunch of proles have a litter impulse problem. Its such an affront on our basic liberties as to be un-American...

Not every good idea should be a plan. Bottled water is bad for the environment, coke is 1,000 times worse. They would be laughed out of town banning soft drinks so go after the smaller group drinking bottled water.
