I saw the link at drudge led to a cached page so the original site obviously broke due to Drudge traffic. Here's a reprint of the article that google search returned.

WTF? This is crazy. Peoria? Is this story surreal to anyone else? A gang intimidates a community and prevents calls to the police? Huh? This is like a b-grade race war movie plot.

This link is just the text grabbed from the google cached page of the original article. The site the original article came from was down. I'm going to laugh when this story goes down the memory hole.

Funny...except it's all BULLSHIT!

There was no mob shouting "kill all the white people"...

From the article: "Peoria City Councilwoman Barbara Van Auken said Sunday she is outraged by Wilkinson's allegations.

Van Auken, who has known Wilkinson for six years, said he's had a history of "wildly exaggerating" reports, many of them involving race. And police are well aware of it."
