Feb 14 (Reuters) - Former U.S. Vice President Mike Pence is preparing to resist a grand jury subpoena for testimony about Donald Trump's push to overturn the 2020 election, Politico reported on Tuesday.

Pence and former national security adviser Robert O'Brien were subpoenaed by the special counsel leading investigations into classified documents found at former President Trump's Mar-a-Lago residence and efforts to overturn the 2020 election result, according to media reports last week.

Why? Because none of them want the truth to come out. They are terrified. Pence is terrified for the wrong reasons, of course. He is afraid it will cost him the Presidency. That shipped sailed a long time ago. Someone needs to tell Pence. Maybe then, he will come out and say what any normal, sane person would say.

'Fuck Donald Trump, he tried to have me killed, and he should spend the rest of his life in jail'. But Pence is a coward, just like every other member of the GOP.
 
Pence can take Trump out of the 2024 equation by simply testifying under oath and telling the truth about Daffy Donald.

He should not lose generally. A POTUS and his VP should have the highest protections, but there is an exception for criminal conduct, where it cannot be protected. So when the courts look at the challenge (more likely brought by Trump than Pence), they will see the clear criminality that other courts have seen and spoken to, and the fight against the subpoena will be lost.

As long as masses of these right shitbags on the right keep going to jail, as happened in the Trump admin and in most GOP POTUS Admin's, I am ok with them delaying things and going to jail later and thus having less life to live when they get out.
