Pence points out what I’ve been saying about DeSantis

DeSantis is better than Trump - but he seems completely out of touch w/ the problems we're facing right now.

He has made "woke" the top issue, as though it's the worst thing mankind has had to deal with. It's worrisome, because there is a good chance he could be President - and have to deal w/ actual issues.

DeSantis is not a traditional conservative, he does not believe in small government. As Pence points out.

I read an analyst that stated he will fizzle outside of Florida, he won’t appeal to the general public and he won’t peel off the Trump vote.

Pence deserves no kudos for doing his job on 1/6. He had no choice. Had Quayle not advised him to go through with certifying the vote Pence probably would have refused.

He called trump "reckless" for inciting the coup attempt. Ohhhhh... big words, Mike. He's a whimp and will go down in history as one of the bobble-heads who worshiped trump.

The fact Pence has presidential ambitions is humorous. The MAGAs will never forgive him for refusing to do trump's bidding.

Here's why there will be a Democratic president in 2024: When trump loses the GOP primary to DeSantis trump will run as an independent, thus splitting the GOP vote. There will be a Dem president in 2024.

I agree w/ that. He's hot now as a gov - but sometimes when these guys get out on the campaign trail, they don't connect w/ the rest of America. I don't think his style will resonate in a lot of areas.

And that actually concerns me a bit. I definitely want him to beat Trump - and I'm not sure who else has the ego to do it. Trump will eat a lot of the hopefuls for breakfast (inexplicably, but what he does w/ the nickname & insults actually seems to work).

He’d be better than Trump. He needs vocal lessons because he is super nasal.
