The old folks at The Villages are republican. Teabagger style. All the care about is their Medicare. What Romney and Ryan want to do is end Medicare as we know it...replace it with vouchers. Once that money's gone, they might as well curl up and die.

Those insurance companies are in the business to make money, not make sure the elderly get their $6000 dollars worth of health care each year.

Do you think they'll care when the money runs out? No.

s Robin Hood in reverse — on steroids. It would likely produce the largest redistribution of income from the bottom to the top in modern U.S. history and likely increase poverty and inequality more than any other budget in recent times (and possibly in the nation's history).[4]

The Ryan budget would transform Medicare from a community of people guaranteed the same standard benefits into a voucher program in which each individual would be required to attempt to find adequate coverage. Beneficiaries would incur more out-of-pocket health care costs because the proposed vouchers will not be large enough to cover the rising costs of health care. In addition, the Ryan/Republican budget would also raise the Medicare eligibility age to 67, and likely lead to the demise of the traditional Medicare program by "making its pool of beneficiaries smaller, older, and sicker."

Those seniors at The Villages know this...and so does every other citizen of this state. They're teabaggers, sure...but the were fooled by Rick Scott once. They won't be fooled again.
 
Does it really matter (ignoring, of course, the fact that Romney introduced him as the next president of the United States - perhaps that wasn't shown on american TV). Romney is so badly suited for the job of president of a democratic nation that he could have his entire mormon alien army and jesus and mohammed as joint vice presidents and still be crap.
I love to see the Republican half brains backing this buffoon (is he American, by the way?) whose chief claim to fame seems to be that he is rich (anyone seen his university reports?). They really will do anything to get rid of the slightly-darker-than-a-mormon gentleman. Here is a snippet of news for them.
Just because John Wayne is dead doesn't mean you can be him. They have stopped making cowboy films. Practicing your quick draw in front of your bathroom mirror (do they have bathrooms in trailers?) and driving an oversized truck because you have an extremely small dick doesn't really make you any more than extreme losers.
