So, I am not part of the "let's give him a cookie for meeting the minimum basic standards of being a decent human being" school of feminism. I expect that as a baseline, and then I will work from there. However, having dealt with men on this board for so many years now, I have learned that most of the lizard brained rape culture ones double down when called out and would never actually listen. So even though I think that Oswalt only did the very minimum that a human being can do and still be called decent (he listened to his women friends and heard their lived experiences), I have to grade on a curve due to my experiences here and give him props:
