Patriotism Over Partisanship - A Conservative's Pledge

"socalist societies" are just another form of elitist fascism. The form of ethnically charged fascism (hatred of whites, males, christians, etc.) we see now, feels like justice because it promises to make a new victim of 'historical oppressors'. But it's the same old collectivist hate, with elites identifying the new victims of the collective, just like always.

Most of the socialists I know are white males. The Democratic Socialists of America is chock full of 'em.

Socialism doesn't have shit to do with race, gender, or religion my good brother. These are all abstract and superficial elements of society .. only important if/when they are being oppressed, because oppression is not in the best interest of society.

Social Security doesn't give a damn what race or gender you are, nor does it care what god you believe in.

Still, political correctness regarding race, religion, gender, etc is a big part of the new mix of big government socialism (fascism). i don't know why you know so many self hating whites.

But more importantly:
What we call socialism today is more akin to fascism, because the PRIVATE COMPANIES chosen as vendors to the state are basically granted a state enforced monopoly. That's fascism.

But colleges and employers do, because of the bizarro notion of fixing historical injustice with continued racial/ethnic/gender discrimination.

Again, you're getting your concepts all twisted.

What you're talking about isn't socialism and it isn't facism .. it's called civil rights .. although like socialism, it is in the best interests of society.

There is a very good reason why there is a word called "socialism" and there is another word called "facism" .. and that reason is because they are not the same thing.

The propensity to reach for "facism" to describe things one doesn't like belittles the real scrurge of facism. It's like calling Bush "Hitler."

Essentially they are the same. They both involve an all powerful elite making all decisions (to their own benefit).

It really is fascism though. it is transforming society into a totalitarian monstrousity, with state and corporate actions sychronized to provide maximum oppressive power for the elite.

BAC is right. The Greeks understood the frailty of democracy, when they noted that democracy cannot last, because eventually the people will realize that they can vote to loot the coffers of the treasury, and then everything falls appart. Eventually we come back to the beginning of the cycle of government with tyranny.

For that reason, BAC is correct when he points out that socialism naturally grows on the hearts and minds of the public over time, and that little if anything can be done to prevent it.

But fascism is no better, 3d. That's just straight to the tyranny part.

At least with socialism you get a reach around on the first few dates.
