According to snippets of testimony played by Cheney, Trump’s attorney general, William P. Barr, told Trump his claims were “complete nonsense.” Ivanka Trump was persuaded by the assurance. “I respect Attorney General Barr, so I accepted what he was saying,” she told the committee.
 
Of course they blamed Trump. This is just political schrade infomercial. Trump authorized 20,000 national guards but Nancy and Chuck rejected the offer even after the Chief of police for the Capital Police begged Nancy for help. If 20,000 national Guard where there the 1/6 riot would have never happened. Even Lizard Chaney admitted they knew ahead of time there would be problems. Why didn't Nancy and Chuck want to defend the Capital.
