What do we do regarding our relationship with Pakistan? There's a civil war going on that we seem to be somewhat involved with. There are some in the country who support the U.S. and some who hate us. I don't think we can just go in an attack the country but we can't completely disengage from it either. We do give them lots of money. What would happen if we turn the money spigot off?

I say we cut off the cash to Pakistan immediately and tentatively keep our presence in Afghanistan. It was reported that if we had not kept our troops in Afghanistan our ability to go in to Pakistan and take out bin Laden would not have been possible. Leaving Afghanistan would mean forgoing that military advantage in the region.

I say we cut off the cash to Pakistan immediately and tentatively keep our presence in Afghanistan. It was reported that if we had not kept our troops in Afghanistan our ability to go in to Pakistan and take out bin Laden would not have been possible. Leaving Afghanistan would mean forgoing that military advantage in the region.

We just wait until they grow the next Bin Laden. We can do that from America. Let them cultivate their poppy fields and supply the world with heroin. Prior to the war in Afghanistan 6% of the opium coming here came from there. Since the war 67% comes from there.
