Orange clown job approval ratings worst in 80 years after first 100 days...

New polling comparing Gen Z voters to overall population, show dismal numbers for trump...

I realize this may blow Democrats' minds, but 100 days into President Donald Trump’s second term, most of the millions of Americans who cast their vote for him are still happy they did.
Another telling number is that only 1% of Trump voters say they’d rather not have voted at all. When it comes to Kamala Harris, the former vice president and Democratic nominee, 14% of her voters say they’d rather have not taken part. :whoa:And significantly more people are happy with the direction of the countrynow than they were before Trump took office. The gap between those who think the country is on the wrong track and those who think it's on the right track has shrank from 36 points in November to fewer than 12 now.

Why should
we stop believing that he will do what we elected him to get done?
Probably because he hasn’t done “what you elected him to get done,” well, unless you consider dragging down the economy and nation with it as something you wanted done. His promises were many, success on those promises, little.

And wait till he gets his promised tax cut for the upper 1%, with which flooding the economy with money will lead to inflation and burying the nation in additional debt

Interesting part of that “opinion” poll is that it never actually sources the poll she is citing, the one poll actually mentioned doesn’t have anything regarding that which she is concluding. And all she offers to support her “direction of the country” claim is one RCP poll which shows Trump underwater

Very misleading Opinion piece

“Great” at what?

1. Polling: One week after his inauguration, Trump's approval ratingpeaked at 52% — an astonishing turnaround for a president whose support had fallen to 34% when he left office in 2021. Today, his average approval mark has slid to 44%, driven by abysmal polling on the top issue he was elected to fix: the economy.

2. Economic outlook: Many CEOs believed Trump when he promised a "new golden age" powered by deregulation, lower taxes, savvy dealmaking and other pro-business policies. But his chaotic tariff rollout has blindsided corporate America, roiled global markets, dragged down consumer confidence and dramatically raised the risk of a recession.

3. Immigration: Trump's Day One border crackdown has thrilled his supporters, with the White House eager to spend Day 100highlighting its high-profile deportations of alleged migrant criminals. Border security remains Trump's best issue, but cracks are beginning to emerge as the courts restrain his powers and voters raise concernsover violations of due process.

4. DOGE: Elon Musk was a permanent fixture in the early weeks of the administration, as Trump and his Cabinet rallied behind his efforts to slash billions from the federal budget. But Musk quickly became a political liability: His mass firings and chaotic rehiring of some federal workers are now estimated to have cost taxpayers $135 billion — wiping out most of the $160 billion that DOGE claims it saved.

5. Russia: Trump entered office vowing to end the war in Ukraine "on Day One," touting his relationship with Russian President Vladimir Putin and his credibility as a dealmaker. Trump now claims that promise was a figure of speech and an "exaggeration," and is threatening to walk away from negotiations amid stalled progress.

You're kidding, right?
She sourced UMass/Amherst poll and RCP avg.
Click the links. I can't believe I have to actually tell you this.

Why should
we stop believing that he will do what we elected him to get done?
You wanted him to say he would take over Canada and Greenland? You wanted him to lie about tariffs again and again? He has no tariffs passed. He says he settled 200 of them. None of that bothers you? How about he was settling the Russian war in 24 hours and it still goes on. Yet he demands Ukraine just give it up and let Putin win. I figured that is what you wanted to happen.
