Not only is the homeowner not being charged, but the two surviving criminals are being charged with FELONY MURDER for the deaths of their partners in crime.




ISP: Indiana homeowner shoots, kills 2 intruders, holds 2 more at gunpoint

DEKALB COUNTY, Ind. – An Indiana homeowner shot and killed two intruders and held another pair at gunpoint until officers arrived, police say.

According to Indiana State Police, the incident happened early Sunday morning during a suspected home burglary in DeKalb County.


Around 6 a.m., four people broke into a home in the 1600 block of State Road 8. They were armed and confronted the homeowner, who was also armed.

The homeowner fired at the suspects, police said.

Tabitha L. Johnson, 42, and Shaun T. Kruse, 42, both of Fort Wayne, were being held in the DeKalb County Jail on charges of felony murder and burglary.

If it was me, I'd probably be arrested.

I get the feeling that here, they'd tell me to put the gun up, and what good would that do? :dunno:

In Indiana, the citizens are allowed to defend themselves and their property....

In Florida in some counties people can. Not so sure about in mine.

I'd probably be arrested and they'd take everything they could; I'd be exonerated, but then never get any of my stuff back without paying a small fortune to the cops or sheriffs that took it.

That's how it is in a blue area.

I'm thinking it's best not to involve them for much of anything.

THEY WERE FOR THE INNOCENT HOME OWNER....WHO KNOWS WHAT THE ARMED THUGS WOULD HAVE DONE OTHERWISE.

ONLY CRIMINALS WERE KILLED.

ONLY THE REMAINING CRIMINALS ARE CHARGED WITH THEIR DEATHS.

Home invasions, especially by drug addicts, are not to be trifled with. If society can't stop criminals from attacking innocent citizens, then the citizens must abe allowed to resort to their unalienable right of self-defense.
