so before any real information was established, it was cool for cops to hold at gun point a news reporter with a backpack, just because? is that your traitorous interpretation of the 4th Amendment?

You are an ignorant, one dimensional, sick person. There was a full blown manhunt going on. There may have been bombs planted....bombs that could have cell phone triggers. One misdialed call could have been catastrophic, the suspect could have been disguised among the throngs of media that were present.

Those are just TWO scenarios in that situation that justify a RELATIVELY MINOR and ABSOLUTELY TEMPORARY suspension of what YOU deem your 4th Amendment right.

There are signs in hospitals that tell you to turn off your cell phone because of certain equipment ...guess they are violating your rights....guess airlines are just fucking with your constitutional rights too....fuck the small chance you might kill everyone on board...you have your rights!

Once more, Constitutional fundamentalism rears it's ugly head. Kind of like saying "shall not be infringed" is the key to the second amendment... but "WELL REGULATED militia" is just an afterthought.

as I said, if you can't even be bothered to remember history, even the last two years worth, then live in ignorance. we see a high profile shooting of a citizen and all the cops do is tell the public that they're doing everything possible (except thousands of cops manhunting), but when a cop, or someone close to a cop, is killed (i.e. LA and Dorner or MIT) now all of a sudden, we're facing the most dangerous man alive since bin laden and we see cities on lockdown and thousands manhunting. I guess you'd just call that a coincidence though.

To support your presentation, all you would have to do is show these incidents where there have been other "...cities on lockdown and thousands manhunting..."; which is what you're now proposing.
