It should have strengthened your faith in our system. We followed the Constitution. What you were hoping would happen would have violated the wording of the Constitution and state laws establishing the procedure for choosing electors.

No, it strengthened my confidence level in your dishonesty. It is obvious who on this site hates the US.

I had insisted that Biden would not get 306 electoral votes on January 6th. I was certain State legislatures would have acted differently. I was greatly mistaken. I wanted to give all the Leftist US-haters on this site the opportunity to say "I told you." I owe all of them my sincere acknowledgment that I was wrong.

I am doing that now. I also wish to afford all of those who wish to vent the opportunity to unload and to pile on.

You are welcome to "have at it."

What has Joseph Biden ever done to make someone claim that he would be part of something like that.

That is what I am "confused" about because he has never given any indication that he would ever be associated with such a thing.

It is strange to acknowledge you were wrong and say it strengthened your faith in my dishonesty. I argued the states could not change their electoral votes after the Dec 14 date because that is when the Constitution says states shall cast their electoral votes. That is simple fact, not dishonesty.

That is simply because I read the Constitution and about the procedures for the electoral college. And, it would violate all our legal principles for a state to establish the popular vote would select the electors and then, after the fact, change its mind and choose different electors. As was pointed out at the time, many of those state legislatures were not even in session to choose new electors.

I think your strong desire to see Trump win led to some irrational beliefs about how the system works. Because you were wrong does not mean those who disagreed with you "hate the U. S." Don't let your politics result in hate for others. It was simply a disagreement about things work.
