And please tell me how Boomers fucked everything up? I'm a Boomer and I'd like to know. You really need to let go of your hate for billionaires. They aren't the problem. The problem is the government (both parties) spends and wastes too much of our tax money. Then they blame the other side for the problem when both parties are to blame. Open your eyes. Government is the problem, not the people. Your disdain for the wealthy is without basis.

Anyone want to take a swing at this softball about how or why the Boomers are just the fucking worst?

Cause, I got plenty to say about it, but I think it would be neat if others chimed in with their reasons for why Boomers are just the fucking worst.

"You're just jealous" is a convenient and lazy way to avoid admitting that you were suckered by the Prosperity Gospel and it's too late to admit it because you burned all your capital arguing in its defense.

There is no economic argument against taxing the wealthy to pay for things like health care and education. Instead, there are emotional arguments meant to manipulate by playing on emotions like jealousy and resentment. It's hard for highly emotional people like that to distinguish between the economics and the emotion; for them, everything is guided by their emotions. Specifically, self-preservation...which is inherently a Boomer trait. "I got mine so fuck you", "greed is good", "he who dies with the most toys wins" are how Boomers fucked everything up.

4700 boomers die a day with close to 4 million gone by the 2020 election

I have to say that for a Generation that was handed EVERYTHING ... they sure have fucked it up.

You want to know why everyone hates you, Boomers?

Are you sure?

OK...I'll tell you (borrowed from imagr):

You are the worst generation. You decimated the United States economically and ecologically after decades of abusing resources. The generation before you saved the world in WWII and created the foundation for an era of prosperity through a strong social safety net, and Big Government, and this is how you repay them? And you're such sponges. All you did was leech off the generation before you, and you're leeching off the generations after you. And even though we are trying to clean up your mess, you treat us like imbeciles glued to our phones. And what really sucks is how you pretend you're these deep thoughtful people who defy distracting technology that turns you stupid, despite being the generation that grew up with the invention of television and who got duped into sharing Russian-generated propaganda on social media. Yeah, our generations have idiots and morons in it, but at least we call them out. We "cancel" them. We don't delude ourselves into thinking we were some sort of golden age of perfection that solved all the world's problems with Vietnam protests (both for and against) and Civil Rights protests (also, both for and against); it wasn't! You're just a bunch of spoiled brats. And not to mention all the years of homophobia, xenophobia, and racism that we are still dealing with today because y'all didn't kill it when you had the chance. You're so entitled. And I think the thing I hate most about you is your textbook conservative agenda. How we should "uphold family values", how a lack of all restraint somehow makes businesses work better, how taxes are supposedly the worst tragedy ever inflicted on the economy, how billionaires are rich simply because they worked hard. Well what the fuck have you actually done? We are doing our best to come up with ideas to rebuild the economy; don't see you helping out! You wanna help? Stop being wasteful. Stop sharing propaganda on social media. STOP TALKING. Oh and by the way, sending people into space didn't make you Jesus Christ, and you couldn't do it without paper-clipping a few Nazis to the US after the war. Oh wait, that's right...you all want to force everyone to worship Jesus Christ because atheists and agnostics are just "idiots" or "terrorists". Well who the fuck are you to talk down to anyone? You sent the economy into recession twice in the last 20 years, which isn't nearly as bad as all the wars you started. Say, how's that Afghanistan War going?????? We've only been there 18 fucking years.

But you know what? I could forgive all of it -ALL OF IT- if you weren't such flaming hypocrites. That's the worst part. You started out as a counterculture that stood against everything you've become today. And now you're just a bunch of big, fat, diabetic, sad hypocrites.

*SIGH*

Well, see ya douchebags. You're welcome for the Medicare and Social Security, fuckers.

Anytime someone says "both parties" waste our tax money, I tune out. Yes, the Democrats are bad, but the Republicans are a hundred times worse. Even within the DNC, there is infighting between Social Democrats and Capitalists. With the RNC, we have nothing but Fascist and Fascist-friendly Capitalists.
And saying we have disdain for the wealthy, that's just peak Boomer posting. We don't have disdain for the wealthy, we have disdain for a system that lets people become ultra-wealthy. But this is part of the Boomer mentality. If you believe in equity, if you think people who work 40 hours a week should bring home a good paycheck, if you accept that class privilege is real, then you're just jealous of the rich.

You nailed it right there...I think it's also fear of self-confrontation mixed in a cocktail with entitlement and laziness;

It's simply easier to just pretend that haters are just jealous, than it is to admit that their own conventional wisdom, to which they think they are entitled, is wrong.

IRONY.

The emotional argument is all yours you dumbass. I am bemused when leftists argue that Americans are too stupid to provide for their own healthcare and need the Government to do it for them.

I am amused by the lie filled argument that Government is an efficient means to providing for goods and services.

Let's be clear, there is no intelligence in any argument that wishes to turn the citizens of this nation into dependent wards of the State.

Let's also be clear that Marxist class envy memes do not make for solid arguments. The rich are obligated to do NOTHING for anyone. The fact that you have NOTHING is not due to anything the rich have done, or Government has not done, it is a testimony to your own failure to do anything for yourself.

Idiots like you are a testament to how terribly our educational establishment has failed our children. In order to buy an absurd and fact challenged argument like yours, one has to believe that the economy is finite, and therefore, if person X gets Y, person A had to give up Y. That is a farce and a lie.

When Bill Gates invented Microsoft and, as a result, became a billionaire, he raised productivity levels, created hundreds of thousands of jobs and tens of thousands of newly minted millionaires. We need more people like Bill Gates and fewer uneducated leaches on society like you who believe Government should forcefully take it from someone to give it to losers like you.

How so? Be specific and spare me the moronic leftist talking points list.

With the RNC, we have nothing but Fascist and Fascist-friendly Capitalists.

It's obvious you are ignorant of the definition of Fascist.

We don't have disdain for the wealthy, we have disdain for a system that lets people become ultra-wealthy.

How does the system LET people become wealthy? How is having wealthy people a bad thing?

If you believe in equity, if you think people who work 40 hours a week should bring home a good paycheck, if you accept that class privilege is real, then you're just jealous of the rich.

This screed made ZERO sense. Let's tackle this from a different angle; what is preventing anyone in this country from making more or doing more?

27 amazing things baby boomers have done for humanity

For far too long, people have been dissing the children of the "greatest generation". We need to hear more about their achievements.

Was there ever a generation more filled with self-doubt, even self-loathing, than the baby-boomers? If you were born between 1945 and 1965, you are supposed to feel guilty for trashing the economy, for the demise of the family, for endemic cynicism and selfishness, for an addiction to government handouts and for flared trousers. New York Times columnist Thomas Friedman, a baby-boomer, confessed to a graduating class recently that his had been "the grasshopper generation, eating through just about everything like hungry locusts."

Look, everybody makes mistakes. A bit of greed here and there shouldn’t obliterate all the good that baby-boomers have done for Gen X, Gen Y and whoever else happens to come along. It’s about time for some Boomer Pride. Here are 27 (there are lots more) ways that we (yes, I’m one of them) have improved the universe.
