Yeah Bravo. Obama Claus got his photo op with Christie. What else do you expect him to do? For crying out loud, it has only been 11 days. Sheesh.

What is really funny is that Christie thinks he is being slicker having his jungle fever man love with Obama Claus and trying to set himself up for his next election. Of course Corey Booker is going to run against him. Do you think Obama Claus is going to be showing the fat ass any love? Fuck no.

Don't worry Bravo... It's all normal. I posted earlier of the inefficiencies inherent in FEMA since they were subsumed by the DHS. I remember some people getting all laughtastic about the "theory" or thinking it was a reason to excuse the response to Katrina. It isn't. It just needs to be separate so that the separate departments don't argue over each decision made by them during a crisis...

Imagine: Brownie decided he needs some Blackhawks to get down to LA and help Katrina victims. This goes back to DC, where the DHS begins arguing about who was going to send them...

Pre-DHS Brownie calls the Army and asks for the copters and gets them, the Army knows that he has the budget, answers only to the President, and will be paying for it and they will not lose funds for their operating budget, post-DHS the several departments argue, none knowing if the other departments will finally agree to pay using FEMA funds or it will come from their operating budget.

What used to take a phone call now takes days of argument among bureaucrats. An effective President now must plug in to each crisis of this type to cut the red tape or this is the type of response you will see every time. People starving, looting, homeless, and powerless. Bush's response to Katrina, sucktacular. Obama's to this, so far doesn't appear much different. Plug in for a moment, Bush flies over, Obama takes a picture with a fat man.

Now, it may turn out better, and believe it or not I hope it does, but at this moment it sure doesn't appear to be much better.

Any decent president would be taking some kind of hands on approach to helping the victims of the storm, not taking a vacation on AF 1 .
More dereliction of duty......Obama makes Bush look better every day....except to the hacks.

People still without food, water, shelter.....freezing and starving while Obama takes a globe trot....and dispicable, partisan assholes close their collective eyes to
the suffering. Their compassion is astounding.

My mistake....hes not on vacation yet.....

President Barack Obama is spending his first Saturday after winning reelection on the golf course. Today's outing is to the course on Andrews Air Force Base.
"Motorcade arrived at Andrews Air Force Base at 11:01 am after an uneventful ride," the pool report reads. "President Obama is playing golf with three White House aides: Eugene Kang, Joe Paulson and trip director Marvin Nicholson, according to a White House official. Pool is holding at the Andrews fast food court for the next few hours."

He should have hired a storm victim as caddy for the day....they could use a little R & R....
