What we have heard today is that obamadontcare.gov is now fixed, well if you want to go by affirmative action standards maybe

For instance, an HHS chart – which Zients boasted about – shows system uptime now at 95.1 percent (excluding scheduled maintenance), which compares to 42.9 percent a month ago. But, the industry standard is for websites to be available for users 99.9 percent of the time. Anything below that is considered a failure and 95.1 percent is a disaster.

A 95.1 percent uptime means that over the course of a year, a website would be down for about 18 days. Alternatively, imagine what a disaster it would be for sales if, during the holiday shopping season, Amazon’s website were down for about a day and a half, excluding scheduled maintenance.

Five weeks ago, Bataille said, just 30 percent of users could get through the process.

“Today, we’re now more in the zone of about 80 percent of users being able to do that same process successfully,” she said.

What does “in the zone of about” mean? Furthermore, she emphasized that not all Americans will feel comfortable signing up by the website, and could seek help by phone or in person. That suggests that the vague 80 percent number includes all forms of signing up for insurance, not just through the website.

And once again, comparing it to the private sector, imagine if one out of every five people trying to buy airplane tickets on Orbitz could not do so./B]

Also, I am still waiting on the evidence that some right winger fucked up Obama's code that he wrote as one JPP troll predicted would come to light. She doesn't talk about that much anymore.

LOL

They count the failed user profile creations as "uptime" as well. The site doesn't function correctly, but it is "up" 347 days per year...

I still don't understand how anybody at all could possibly believe that with all this fail on the simple stuff that their information is secure at all. Security is very much more difficult than the crap they are failing at.

Maybe we should put this into terms that Deshy Dearest can understand. Imagine if JPP functioned like Obama's healthcare website? Could you imagine the stroke Deshy Dearest would have? OMG, she would accuse the "righties of embedding viruses in JPP to keep our her brand of FACTS"

[h=1]Health-care enrollment on Web plagued by bugs[/h]WASHINGTON - The enrollment records for a significant portion of the Americans who have chosen health plans through the online federal insurance marketplace contain errors - generated by the computer system - that mean they might not get the coverage they're expecting next month.

The errors affect roughly one-third of the people who have signed up for health plans, according to two government and health-care industry officials. The White House disputed the figure but declined to provide its own.

The mistakes include failure to notify insurers about new customers, duplicate enrollments or cancellation notices for the same person, incorrect information about family members, and mistakes involving federal subsidies. The errors have been accumulating since HealthCare.gov opened two months ago, even as the Obama administration has been working to make it easier for consumers to sign up for coverage, the government and industry officials said.

Figuring out how to clean up the backlog of errors and prevent similar ones in the future is emerging as the new imperative if the federal insurance exchange is to work as intended. The problems were the subject of a meeting Monday between administration officials and a new "Payer Exchange Performance Team" made up of insurance industry leaders.
