You’re used to seeing President Barack Obama on the nightly news and cable networks but, on the Cartoon Network?

When the network airs “Speak Up,” a documentary about bullying, Obama will deliver a “special opening message” to viewers, according to a release announcing the move. Obama has been a regular critic of bullying, having convened a prevention summit on the topic at the White House last year.

The half-hour film is part of the network’s “Stop Bullying: Speak Up” initiative and airs nationally March 18 at 5:30 p.m. Health and Human Services Secretary Kathleen Sebelius will premiere the film at a Washington, D.C. middle school on March 14.

“We are honored that President Obama wanted to add his voice to our program,” said Stuart Snyder, president and COO of Turner Broadcasting’s Animation, Young Adults & Kids Media division.

“This is such a key issue for our audience and their families and his participation helps even more to raise awareness about the importance of speaking up.”

I wonder if he was “bullied” for being homosexual in his youth?

Oh goodie, a cartoon on bullying. Is Obama going to talk about bribery and how to pass health care and then ram it down our throats?

Is he going to talk about forcing the American people to pay for birth control for college students?
